Okay, I guess I need to stop watching the news. Every time they bring up the problem with unemployment I wanna scream at the top of my lungs from the tallest mountain, "WHY IS OUR CONGRESS SO STUPID?! (stupid, stupid, stupid...). They whine about and blame the President for the jobs issue when, if they would pull thier heads outta their asses, they would see that they are the reason for all of this. Ross Perot warned them that the NAFTA bullshit would ruin our country, but NOOOOOOO, they had to kiss the asses of the rich industrialists and send our jobs overseas so the companies could save money they would spend on taking care of it's hard workers and keep it in their bottom lines. Bastards. You wanna save our country? Tell our employers to shove their greed up their asses and start coughing out the dough. Bring all of or work back here. Screw Japan, China, Mexico, Taiwan, and Hukki-Kabki BFE. It's abot time some other country kissed their asses and helped them out. We're in deep shit here and it's about time Congress got it fixed. No more anything being made elsewhere. We were doing awesomely when we made our own products to fill our own needs. And we knew that what we made was quality stuff. China is poisoning us with lead, Japan is sabatoging us, Mexico has the dope all over everything. Enough already. Let me say it again.
IF YOU BRING THE GODDAMN JOBS HOME FROM WHEREVER, UNEMPLOYMENT WOLD VIRTUALLY DISAPPEAR. INCOMES WILL SHOOT UP, FAMILIES WILL MAKE IT, BIG BUSINESS, AND EVEN SMALL BUSINESS, WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE GOOD CARE OF ITS WORKERS AND THE GOVERNMENT WON'T HAVE TO BICKER LIKE LITTLE BABIES ABOUT WHAT IS GONNA GET CUT.
Bring the jobs back home. More taxes will come in. Less will be spent on trying to insure the people because that responsibility will become the businessess ( and if they don't do it affordable and correctly they will pay very steep fines). We can buy our own food, pay our own bills, live in our own homes, and actally living our lives rather than merely existing.

Sometimes technology sucks
Here I am, thinking of a dozen things to write about, but the only thing I'm saying is, sometimes, technology sucks. My laptop isn't very old and I've already had too many issues with it. In a week's time after I got it the dang thing went from speedy delivery to slower than snail's pace. The keyboard is already coming apart and the keys don't like to work unless I bang on them. Of course, I admit, that eating, drinking, making cigarettes, and whatever near it is not a good idea, but it is hard as hell to clean under these keys.
Then there's the screen. The slightest touch and you have mega-smears. What are you supposed to use to clean a plasma screen? And how the hell do these little goodies that mess up your computer get thru the dang ani-virus/anti-adware/anti-spyware program that costs a small fortune?
Here's the rub: is there anyone left in this world who can do anything without the computer? When I worked at McDonald's, one time, the computers went down. I just figured that things were gonna end up a bit slower, but you know what the management did? CLOSED THE STORE! I almost plotzed. Why? I asked. Well, the cash registers won't work so the orders cannot be displayed on the screen and inventory cannot be accounted for. 'Scuze me? Nobody can do math? Nobody can write? Nobody can read? Hell, I was ready with a calculator I had in my car, a pen, and scrap paper. I said get a cash drawer out of the safe, it's not closed anyway. Let's get this moving. They looked at me like I was insane. I was told they can't do business that way and closed the store. On my way out I was telling customers that we were closed due to the comps. They looked at me like I was insane. One guy banged on the drive thru window and bitched out the manager for being stupid. "Get dome paper, a pencil, a drawer of money and get busy!" he screamed. He was told they can't and shut the window.
What in the hell are we going to do if the power goes out for good? We are living our lives under the command of technology. We are in serious trouble.

Song of the Times
There is a song written for darn near every occasion. At a lot of weddings you might hear Keeper of the Stars" by Tracy Byrd or "I Swear" by John Michael Montgomery. At a funeral "Be Not Afraid" or "On Eagle's Wings". To celebrate a pregnancy "Havin' My Baby". All you need to do is listen. I have found a lot of songs that represent my feelings thru my depression and plenty to express my love to someone, but there is one song that always popped into my mind when I am overwhelmed by my really crappy financial situation and I realized today that it should become our National Anthem with the way things are right now in our country. That song is performmed by my favorite music group STYX. The song? "Why Me". It sooooooooooooo covers the way things are and how people are feeling about it. It was intended as a tribute to our country, but I see it also as a song that questions what has happened. We used to be the nation on top of the world and now we are falling. It addresses the desire of those who will still fight for our country, but at the same time, wonders why? What happened?

Ummmm, duh
God, I hate it when I have an idea and it disappears just when I' ready to write about it. My head has been so messed up this year it's getting scary. You know, I cannot remember anything from my Associate's degree classes? Not a damn thing. I remember having math classes that turned my brain into mush. My tutor tried so hard to get me to learn that stuff, but the second an equation popped up on the screen I literally felt all knowledge vanish. Seriously, what was there, was not during the math. I remember a geology course, a social studies course, some kind of menial anatomy course, and a software class. I swear to you, I remember nothing from them. Well, at least I have a degree, fat lot of good that'll do me.
Now I'm working on my Bachelor's in health care administration. Do I remember anything from those courses? Very little. I remember nothing from trying to read the texts, but I have managed to maintain a B average, so far. When did Congress lose it's empathy and commmon sense?
Ohhhhhhhhhh, Congress is really doing their job, aren't they? NOT! Big businesses, greed, and stupidity have them under a thumb. I won't go into the bull-pucky, we all know. Most of us have been or still are being seriously effected by our wonderful democracy. I'm just going to jump into my opinion on stuff.
Where are the budget cuts supposed to come from? Any government crappola that is not directly in the advantage of the people's needs. Who gives a shit (pardon) about the mating habits of animals, bugs, or reptiles, especially if they've been dead for eons. How does that info really help anybody? How about the huge sums of money distributed as important sounding but is actually used to build golf courses, and rich people nonsense. Where should the money really be going? Into Social Security, Public Assistance Programs, Medicaid and Medicare, Education, Public Safety and research that actually benefits us. Where does the money come from? All those rich people who, although they claim the recession is hurting too (waa), have more than one home, 'scuze me, mansion have yachts, personal aircraft, and basically more money than they need or, in most cases, deserve. The money should come from the big businesses who have profited big time by shipping our jobs overseas in order to fatten up their bottom line; who took away insurance or jacked up the premiums on their employees; who stopped retirement or shrunk it excessively while taking away the retirement money from those who busted their asses for decades to earn a comfortable retirement.
And how about the billions being thrown away fighting someone else's war, helping them rebuild when our country is literally falling apart. Our infrastructure is a disaster. It is time to pull ALL our people out of the other countries that are sapping us dry and concentrate on building new roads here, fixing up buildings, cleaning up the filth that has been spreading itself all over.
It's time for Congress to get their heads out of their behinds and actually see our country's impending demise and fix it. No more free money to people who aren't even full citizens. As a matter of fact, if they don't become full citizens within 3-6 months after being deeply investigated and given working-visitor status, then out they go. And no more paying them our wages (pittance that it is) under the table. You earn money here, you pay taxes. With the illegals, give them 2 chances to come here the right way, 3rd attempt gets them sent away the hard way; feet first in a box. Time to tell businesses to bring the jobs back into our own country, back to "Made in the USA" or face higher taxes. They can afford it since they aren't paying any workers liveable wages or benefits. Time to re-employ our own and take good care of them, too.
Congress also needs to start sticking its nose into the health care system and find out the truth behind the constant raises in insurance and health care. Make providers stop overblowing the cost of the products they use on a person. Acetametaphin is practically free so why are they charging people the price of an exclusive golf club membership for two pills. Have you ever seen the itemized bill of a hospital stay? Why do they charge so much for bandaids, gauze, and tape? Hell, if I ever need to be hospitalized I'll bring my own stuff. I'll sign a waiver if I had to. It is absolute greed to charge a 5000% mark up on one pill, I don't care how much research or procurment of the ingredients cost. If a pill actually costs $2.00 to make, then that's all we should have to pay. Check it out sometime, people. It's true. Oh, and the same crap is being pulled by all the governments for purchases of inexpensive items. They pay $3.00 for a box of nails, but charge the taxpayer hundreds (maybe a very slight exaggeration) per nail. Oh, yes they do. Check out Reader's Digest's "That's Outrageous!" archives. I'm betting other reputable media have done investigations.
And, just because it pooped into my head just now, has anyone really noticed how the economy and debt fluxuate between presidents? Back when Regan was President things were starting to get out of control, but he managed to keep it from bouncing around too drastically. Then here comes Bush Sr. He sticks our nose in other people's business and our debt shoots up like a rocket. Clinton takes over and he actually clears the debt and we have a surplus. The economy is great. Then, not even a year into his first term Bush Jr. has us in debt, again, up to our eyeballs. He continues the Bush family legacy of oily greed and war and plunges us into Vietnam, the sequal. Then the people finally speak loud enough to almost be heard by bringing in Barak Obama, who has been sticking to his promises to fix this huge mess, at least trying to. Which brings us back to our wonderful Congress, best friend and knight in shining armor to the people (snort!) who keep blocking every attempt by the President to get the goods a-moving.
So, what do we have? Well, unless your rich, not a damn thing but poverty and fear. We started the cry for an end of the stupidity and greed by voting in a President who really IS for the people. Now let's make it loud enough to be heard in the next galaxy. Clean out Congress. Hasta la bye-bye incumbants, especially those who've held office since the Washington Administration. Put a huge scare into the new ones. Let them know that they might have the power to make or break our country, but WE have the power to make or break them.
Oh, and one more thing I should throw in here, those who've been retired do not get Social Security payments equal to their current income. No free medical coverage, no Secret Service protection for the rest of their lives. They either use their own money (they have more than God) or live the way the rest of America's retiree's and disabled live; paycheck to paycheck, not enough to get by on, paying outrageous costs for health care needs, having to decide between a can of dog food for this weeks dinner or splurge on bolagna and bread. No protection from the evil forces out there (because they cut public safety).

New to the world of blogging
Hello World, sorry I'm tardy to the party. This is my first ever attempt at blogging so your help and patience would be narly. There are a lot of subjects flying around that merit the People's opinions and I would love to vent mine to people other than those close to me. Don't get me wrong, I love my friends and family, I just feel it would be more productive and that I could actually feel getting things off my chest if the world of blog was subjected to it.
I am going to try to keep my private life private, but once in a while I may ask your opinion on a problem I'm having. Please remember, though, that this is my opinion; what I say is whatever is popping into my head, and I will answer to those who question it, but not if you don't offer your voice in a constructive and friendly way. I am a very open-minded person, which as a Catholic, could get me excommunicated, but what I say is what I feel and I feel I have a lot more common sense than most people.
Now, if you read me and know that I may be mistaken or don't have a full grasp on what I am writing about, please feel free to educate me. One can never have too much education. Just be nice.
